Located in the seaside town of Lowestoft, in the UK, the company headquarters serves as the central hub for our international dealer and distributor networks, and is our main international distribution centre.
From here, Nexen maintains regular communication with both our domestic and international dealers to discuss customer orders and ongoing product developments. With regional sales and distribution offices and approved dealers located worldwide, Nexen currently supplies its products in over 25 different countries. Nexen is always happy to discuss the supply of new equipment with distributors and dealers who share our work ethos and are keen to introduce our products in their region or country.
The Lowestoft headquarters are also home to the company's research and development department, whereby new and innovative material handling solutions are explored and developed upon with the aim of maximising operation efficiency for our customers.
Some of our latest product developments include lithium battery forklifts that are specially designed to work both indoors and outdoors, providing a green alternative to the more traditional engine-powered forklifts. It was also from our headquarters that our iconic X-Range electric forklifts were developed, and later manufactured, with the intention of producing a powerful electric forklift that is reliable and easy to maintain.
Nexen also sources and supplies used machines for domestic hire or purchasing from this hub via its sister companies, Lift Truck Rentals and Waveney Fork Trucks, with the aim of supporting local businesses with their materials handling needs. In doing so, Nexen ensures that customers are able to find a suitable solution for every budget.
